It’s probably not a coincidence that the words Food and Good only need one letter changed at the beginning of their spelling to make the two separate words complete. That was a complicated sentence to type out and I’m not sure why. But yea food is good. Great even. I’ve eaten good food almost everywhere I’ve been so I don’t want this to be a “food in Japan is better” kind of thing, because I don’t necessarily agree with that sentiment.

HOWEVER, I will say that, when it comes to highest density of good food per available restaurant, Japan kills it.
That curry is from a place called Spice Curry 50. It’s a tiny place that sits maybe 10–12 people max with just one cook and one waitress. It’s in an unassuming neighborhood in a part of Tokyo that most tourists wouldn’t go. (We were the only ones there when we went) And when I tell you it was some of the best curry I’ve ever had, that’s my honest opinion. (Update: my boy tells me the chef is a Korean dude!)
These kinds of things are the norm in Japan. In my experience at least. Everything I’m saying is my opinion and I don’t have the data to back it up but, I got no reason to lie to you.

These are just a few example photos of things I’ve eaten the past few days. I’ve also eaten other things but forgot to take photos or it’s just like conbini (convenience store) food thatI’ll probably make another post about at a later time.
So what is the title of this blog? It’s just the Japanese phrase for saying your stomach is full after you eat. Because daily my stomach has been full. Is there a lesson here? Not really. Should there be, not necessarily. Do I wish I was a good enough writer to have one that I could tie into this word vomit I’m typing? Yes.
OK SO AS YALL WHO FOLLOW ME ON THE GRAM KNOW I GOT THE FLU ABOUT 5 DAYS INTO MY VACATION. With that said and stressed, the rest of this blog and the ones after have been written from home after my trip was over. Gonna bless this post with some more food pics and captions then move on to the next one.
