¥en & ₩on

Let me just tell ya’ll; EXCHANGE RATES ARE POPPIN! Definitely planning to hit some outlets in Japan and come back not knowing how to act. Consider this the official first post because why not. I know I said the first one would be Saturday but like, I lied I guess. Sorry😇

For the uninitiated or also for those who didn’t ask, $1 usd is about ¥150(yen) which is about $1.50us so like, if something costs the equivalent of $3 in Japan you pay $2 in usd. Take that further and do the math and you’ll see how much you might save shopping out there. (Depending on what you’re buying of course. Brands like Apple ain’t shit and raised all the Japanese prices of their product so you can’t go out there and rack up on cheap iPads.

As for the Korean ₩on, it’s sitting at about ₩1333 to $1 usd. I’m no expert but I think that’s equivalent to like $1.30us so if you bought something for $3 in won then it’d cost you like $2.30us which is not too shabby.

DISCLAIMER: I COULD BE COMPLETELY WRONG ABOUT ALL OF THIS. DON’T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET.

Regardless, I’m bout to spend a little money. Whatever higher power you believe in or lack thereof, pray to it for me. Thanks. Love ya.
